Foundations Class
Foundations is an adult educational curriculum. Its objective is to present the basic truths of the Christian faith in a simple, systematic, and life-changing way. This is a study that will have a lifelong impact on the way that you look at everything around you and above you and within you. The study explores 11 core truths of the Christian faith in 4 classes devoted to each core truth. It is designed to help you see everything through the filter of these core truths.
Witherspoon Class
The Witherspoon Class will be studying the Minor Epistles during the summer session. The schedule is as follows:
Aug 29, James – led by Jane Kristof
Sep 5, Intro to fall/winter schedule
Meditation Sampler: Ancient Practices to Open Up to the Spirit Pastor Kent Harrop (First Baptist Church) and Pastor John Ailstock (First Presbyterian Church) will be offering an exciting new class beginning September 19th. The class will be held alternately at both churches and will be for six weeks from 4 to 5:30 pm, with a light dinner being served following the class. The class will feature: mind-body practice; Lectio Divina; Meditational walking (labyrinth); and meditation. We will also discuss practices that the group desires to explore and incorporate them, if possible.
