We have small groups for all ages that meet in people’s homes, or at the church. These groups vary in their timing and format, but all focus on being transformed by Christ through sharing in life together. Contact Pastor Matt Johnson if you are interested in more information.
The men of the church host a Men’s Breakfast generally every other month in Calvin Hall. The breakfast provides an opportunity for the men to get to know each other better and enjoy a meal. Breakfast is followed by a speaker. The Breakfast is a program that promotes fellowship among the men of the church and provides good speakers. Contact Chuck Reubel for more details: 503-472-6956
People ages 55 or older meet in the Fellowship Area at church for a potluck dinner and fellowship the first Monday of the month. Sign-ups are in the Gallery two weeks before.
First Presbyterian Book Club
The FPC Book Club meets the first Wednesday of the month at noon in the Whitherspoon Room. We discuss the book selection for the month and other books attendees have read. Everyone is welcome, even if they have not read the selection for that month. Our discussions are always interesting and entertaining, so please join us for a fun time! Contact Barbara Schoof for more details: 503-472-2232.
The History Squad
This is an impromptu group of people interested in preserving and learning about the history of our beloved First Presbyterian Church in McMinnville. The group meets on the second Wednesday of each month in the Witherspoon room to go over items of interest and discuss ways we can preserve and highlight various aspects of the rich history of the church. ALL are welcome – bring your memories and ideas! Contact the church office for more information: 503-472-6256.
