Marcia Stratman, Director of Music

A graduate of the University of Alaska, Anchorage, Marcia Stratman has been involved in careers of music and education for decades.  She retired as Director of Music at Anchorage Lutheran Church in 2014, and continued working as a substitute organist and pianist for various Anchorage churches.  She maintained a teaching studio for piano and was an adjunct teacher in piano and one of the accompanists at the University of Alaska, Anchorage from 2018 – 2021.

She and her husband, Joel, moved to McMinnville in October, 2021.  In addition to her work here at FPC, she also conducts the Hillside Chorus and the Hillside Bell Choir.
